Minority language A Levels saved!

Theresa Villiers, MP for Chipping Barnet, has welcomed the news that the Department of Education has saved A Level qualifications in Greek and other minority languages from the threat of abolition. For many months, a range of language A levels had been under threat because exam boards had proposed withdrawing them.

Theresa Villiers, MP for Chipping Barnet, is backing the latest stage in the campaign to save the historic Trent Country Park in Enfield. New Environment Centre for Noah's Ark Children's Hospice

Theresa Villiers, MP for Chipping Barnet, has welcomed the opening of the new Environment-Centre for the Noah’s Ark Children’s Hospice. To be known as the E-Centre, it is situated in Byng Road, High Barnet and replaces the Countryside Centre which has provided educational opportunities for Barnet children for many years. Theresa attended the official opening this weekend.

Reductions to disability benefits cancelled

Theresa Villiers has received around 200 emails from constituents expressing their opposition to proposed changes to Personal Independence Payments to disabled people (PIP). These have now been cancelled and Theresa Villiers has issued the following statement in response to the representations she has received on this issue.
