Villiers pledges her support to the Tamil community in Barnet

The British Tamil Conservatives (BTC) recently hosted an event for the Tamil community in Barnet attended by Theresa Villiers, MP for Chipping Barnet, and Lee Scott, MP for Ilford South. The meeting took place in Cockfosters on 19th September and around 45 members of the Tamil community attended.

VILLIERS WELCOMES CRIMINALISATION OF SQUATTING

Theresa Villiers, MP for Chipping Barnet, has welcomed the criminalisation of squatting. From tomorrow, squatters will face up to six months in prison and a five thousand pound fine if they squat in a residential property.

Chipping Barnet MP, Theresa Villiers, has passed her warm congratulations to boxer, Anthony Joshua, who won Team GB's last gold medal of the London 2012 Games with victory in the super-heavy weight category.Watford-born Anthony Joshua trains at the Finchley and District Amateur Boxing Club in Bulwer Road in New Barnet in Theresa's Chipping Barnet constituency.

VILLIERS ATTENDS ANNUAL SHIV DHUN IN MILL HILL

Theresa Villiers, MP for Chipping Barnet, attended the eighth annual Shiv Dhun at the Canada Villa Youth Centre in Pursley Road, Mill Hill, on Saturday (21st July). Shiv Dhun is a multicultural event run by the organisation Ardh Nareshwar Lokh Kaylan (ANLK) whose aim is to help the vulnerable and spread a message of peace and tranquillity. Theresa was welcomed by Sat Sanghera and other ANLK Committee Members.
