VILLIERS SLAMS POST OFFICE CLOSURES

Responding to the announcement that not one of the post offices under threat from closure in Barnet has been reprieved, Chipping Barnet MP, Theresa Villiers has hit out at the Government for ignoring the concerns of local people. Theresa said

"Gordon Brown has completely ignored the overwelming response to my campaign to save our local post offices. Hundreds of people signed my petition but the Government just doesn't want to know. No wonder people are so deeply disillusioned with Gordon Brown.""The loss of these two post offices in my constituency... (continued)
