Reductions to disability benefits cancelled

Theresa Villiers has received around 200 emails from constituents expressing their opposition to proposed changes to Personal Independence Payments to disabled people (PIP). These have now been cancelled and Theresa Villiers has issued the following statement in response to the representations she has received on this issue.

Villiers raises 107 bus with top TfL executives

Theresa Villiers, MP for Chipping Barnet, has raised local concerns about the 107 bus with Commissioner for Transport for London, Mike Brown, and the Head of Surface Transport at TfL, Leon Daniels. The future of the service is uncertain because Hertfordshire County Council is no longer able to part fund the route which runs from New Barnet station to Elstree and Borehamwood through Arkley.

Chase Farm rebuild gets green light from Government

After years of campaigning in support of Chase Farm Hospital, Theresa Villiers, MP for Chipping Barnet, has welcomed the news that the multi-million pound project to rebuild the hospital has received the final go-ahead from the Government.

No to tower blocks at the NLBP
