Diwali message from Theresa Villiers during visit to Bhaktivedanta Manor

Addressing a large crowd at Bhaktivedanta Manor in Aldenham this evening, Theresa Villiers, MP for Chipping Barnet, wishes her constituents a very happy Diwali. She attended festivities which the Hari Krishna centre at the Manor run every year with a major fireworks display watched by around 10,000 people.

Villiers praises the Jesus Hospital Charity for their good work over 300 years

Theresa Villiers, MP for Chipping Barnet, paid a visit to the Jesus Hospital Charity in Union Street, High Barnet, at the weekend which provides accommodation to women over 50 who are struggling financially. She met The Chairman, Brenda Sandford, Vice Chair, Neil Kobish, Trustee, Jan Hulme and Clerk to the trustees, Simon Smith.

Local MP’s Lend a Hand at North London Hospice

Local MP’s for Barnet and Enfield rolled up their sleeves and gave up some of their time to volunteer at North London Hospice last week. North London Hospice was one of more than 100 hospices across the UK that took part in this year’s Hospice Care Week (7-13 October).
