An event at Woodside Park Synagogue to build friendship and mutual understanding between members of the Muslim and Jewish faiths in north London has been praised by Chipping Barnet MP Theresa Villiers.
Chipping Barnet MP Theresa Villiers has heavily criticised Govia Thameslink Railway (GTR) for backtracking on a promise that rush hour Great Northern services removed from Oakleigh Park and New Southgate would be back in the timetable by December.
Theresa Villiers, MP for Chipping Barnet, is calling on the Chancellor to shift the burden of tax away from high street retailers and on to large digital businesses. She has written the following article in advance of a meeting in Parliament this afternoon with the Rt Hon Phillip Hammond:
Chipping Barnet MP Theresa Villiers told a planning appeal public inquiry sitting in Hendon Town Hall last week that plans for multi-storey tower blocks at the North London Business Park “would be too high and too dense for a suburban area like Brunswick Park”.
